The leadership of the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 paid a courtesy visit on the Executive Vice Chairman of South Atlantic Petroleum (SAPETRO), Senator Daisy Danjuma. The visit to the Senator, who is
also a senior member of the legal profession was occasioned by a need to pay courtesies and honor one whose immense contribution to the success of the 2023 NBA Women Forum Annual Conference (in commemoration of International Women’s Day 2023), has been described as outstanding.
Highlight of the visit was a presentation of an award of appreciation to Senator Danjuma. She was also invited to feature as a special guest on the “NBAWF INSPIRE- HER Series- a platform for deep, educating and enriching conversations with inspirational female lawyers who have achieved a great level of success in their careers, organized by the Advocacy Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum.
In her response, Senator Danjuma graciously accepted the invitation and offered to host this special knowledge-sharing session with the women of the Forum in the month of October 2023 at the Wheatbaker hotel in Lagos; pledging to be a part of the endeavours of the Forum, as it would contribute to the advancement of the Nigerian female lawyer.
